Oriole—The Golden Bird

VIP Reception, Harrah’s Hotel and Casino, Shreveport, LA. A bird flight suggesting the transformation of a common starling into a blackbird into a yellow headed blackbird into a beautiful oriole (from the Latin for golden) reflects the alchemical concept of common ugly matter being changed to gold: a metaphor for education or spiritual development.
